Stopped in for coffee and breakfast. Great service and recommendations. Had the Nagels Sunrise on pumpernickel and a can’t say enough about how good it was. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and staff. Good fair prices for a great breakfast!!!

i stopped here in the morning for a quick breakfast and they did not disappoint! there was 2 young people running the shop, who were super polite and kind. i had all types of questions about the menu and they answered every one accurately and very patiently. the food was YUMMY. there was no wait when i arrived but they put it together very fast!! i wish i could come back again 😆 too bad im from so far away!

I love Nagles bagels. Their bagels are chewy and delicious and their blueberry cream cheese is fantastic. Not to mention the people who work there are so kind and welcoming. Definitely a go to in Bedstuy.

I swapped the plain cream cheese for jalapeño cream cheese, and the sandwich came with lox, onion, capers, and tomato on an everything bagel. It was pretty good overall — not the best I’ve ever had in NYC, but definitely a solid, decent option with good-quality lox.

The Spicy Nagle bagel sandwich is a good veggie option, it has crumbled goat cheese, peppadew peppers, avocado, and a delicious chili jam. I got it on a blueberry bagel, which gave an interesting flavor contrast with the chili jam.

The Nagle's Sunrise is even better, it has eggs, a sausage patty, and white cheddar. I got it with a tasty french toast bagel and choptle mayo and more of that chili jam.

Overall this is one of the best bagel shops around.

My son took me here last year while I was visiting him from Chicago and I had the most amazing bagel. The Gotham City on an everything bagel I came back to visit this past weekend and they did not fail me. The bagels were so good I went Sun and Mon to get more. The customer service is amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. Always my first stop when I arrive in NY.

The bagel I got was amazing! Perfectly warm and lightly toasted and the cheese was just slightly melted. I will be dreaming about this bagel from back home in NC and will make sure to return every time I'm back in the area.

*Update* ~ 5 months later, and it's just as good as I remembered. Sooooo good, and I am definitely coming back on this trip

So I’ve been cruising through my new neighborhood getting bagels from random bagel spots. I have gone to 2 so far and 1 was great if I can say the least… the other was like eating jail food served in a soiled pamper.
Nagels I must say is a good spot with tasty bagels.
I have no complaints with the shop and I’ll go there again soon for more, and thank you for the positive hospitality also!

We wandered into this sweet little spot yesterday while visiting a relative. The young man taking our order was quite patient and pleasant as we were undecided what to order. The options all sounded good. We got The Jerusalem and a Sausage, Egg and Cheese. Delicious. Would definitely visit again when in Brooklyn. Go check them out!

Everything is fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a classic bagel shop—but what really stood out was the service.

One staff member in particular was absolutely crushing it: friendly, attentive, and somehow managing to juggle the register, food prep, and even bussing tables without missing a beat. You could tell they cared about the experience, not just the job. That kind of energy is rare and makes a difference.

Great bagels, great vibe, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back.

The bagels were delicious, but their thickness overpowered the cream cheese, which melted too quickly. A bit more cream cheese would have created a better balance of flavors and texture.

I work at Akwaaba, a black owned bed and breakfast in bed stuy. In summer of 2023 one of my guests who got married at Akwaaba ordered from your location as lunch for their bridal party. They were kind enough to say that I should look at the menu and they would order me something too. I ordered the blue velvet, and it was absolutely amazing! Often I would think about the bagel, but couldn’t remember the name of the place they ordered from, nor could I remember the name of the sandwich! I would get so frustrated when I would get the craving for it….Today February 3rd, 2025 I decided to do some research looking for bagel spots near me and I found you guys!!! And you did not disappoint!!! Thank you for the creativity!! I am a true foodie and that blue velvet sandwich makes me happy lol 🤣 it’s so fresh, sweet and savory!! It’s my favorite combination!! Will definitely be ordering from you guys for a future event I have!!! 🙌🏾🙏🏾✨❤️🥰 MY NEW FAVORITE SPOT!!!

We went recently on a weekend morning and it was packed, everyone was waiting for their orders outside. Eventually one of the staff brought us a table to sit outdoors! Really friendly and considerate. Plus, the bagel was delicious, the perfect chew and full of fresh ingredients.

This is a cozy spot with some great food and really friendly staff. If it's looking pretty full, don't let the wait time scare you off! We got there at a really busy time ~10:30 am on a holiday so the place was pretty full. Lots of folks standing inside and outside. We were able to order quickly and the people at the register were calling names both inside and outside to make sure everyone was able to get their order. It was a really nice day so we didn't mind waiting a bit outside, but someone who I assume was the manager came out to set up some chairs and a table for us while we waited. When our order was ready, the staff brought it out with a smile - excellent customer service!

Great spot. A nice variety of bagel sandwiches that are all very delicious! Loved the Blue Velvet and then went back the next day for the Veggie Sandwich.

I was not a fan of Nagle’s for some time, simply because their bagels lacked luster. The bacon egg and cheese were not seasoned and the bagels lack firmness, even when toasted. However, I recently had an everything bagel with blueberry cream cheese and the spread is delicious. Definitely giving me a creamy sweet/ salty balance. Customer service is also lovely.

I’m a Brooklyn native and I’ve got to say, Nagel’s makes an amazing bagel sandwich. Today was my first time at Nagel’s and it definitely will not be my last.

I ordered the Nagel Classic (bagel, lox, cream cheese, thinly sliced red onion, tomato, capers, black pepper). I asked the super friendly dude at the register to have my poppy bagel lightly toasted - and amazingly, my bagel was lightly toasted! The sandwich was pretty perfect, just the right amount of cream cheese, capers, etc and the salmon was delicious.

It was a beautiful day and I was able to grab the one table that the owner had just was set up outside. Perfect.

Such a cute place! The coffee is excellent and the chili jam on the New Yorker haunts my dreams. Definitely worth a visit!

I love this place, it's exactly the kind of small neighborhood store that will keep me in Brooklyn forever. The breakfast sandwiches are all delicious (and I'm working my way down the menu), the coffee is weirdly flavorful (NOT flavored), the vibe is casual and very friendly, and the service is efficient and attentive.

I love the bagels and their hot coffee! The scallion cream cheese bagel is delicious and their hot black coffee is flavorful and fresh compared to most places where it tastes bitter. It has a subtle sweetness to it, which I like. The atmosphere is cozy and the workers there are friendly and professional. I'm a regular customer and recommend this place ✨

It was a little smokey inside so I waited out front for my order, went back in after a few minutes and was on my way. The bagel was nicely toasted and there was a good amount of cream cheese too. Cost about $5. Got the job done Parking: I parked in the bus stop, probably just walk over next time

honestly I thought the ppl working were so nice and silly—gave great recs and advice—and the sandwiches were incredible. I got the gotham and it was mind-blowing… highly recommend for yummy, creative sandwiches.

Stayed in Brooklyn a few blocks from here and everytime I visit the city I go straight to Nagels. Single handedly the best most delish bagels in Brooklyn! Everytime I’ve been its been the same person working. Very sweet and helpful. Definitely will go back everytime I visit!

I've been going to Nagel's for years now and I always get the same thing: toasted whole wheat everything bagel with horseradish+beet cream cheese, extra toasted. I'm generally not a big bagel fan but this is just so good! Nagel's is also the only place I know of that has whole wheat everything bagels. Usually whole wheat bagels are just tasteless and boring. This one is tasty, crunchy and wholesome. The service has never disappointed either and even the place is quite cute now after the renovation. I can't say anything about the other options but I definitely recommend Nagel's!

The best place in Brooklyn for Bagel!!! You have a lot of options! The staff is very kind! I went there 5 times during my stay in Brooklyn. The only negative is that they don't have espresso coffee.

Pretty good, but sometimes you’ll pay $10 for a bagel with barely anything you ordered on it. I got the New Yorker (bacon, egg, cheese) and it only covered half the bread. I also got it to-go and didn’t realize until I was home.
